Kate Middleton Cried After Confronting Meghan Markle about ‘Treatment of Staff’
Kirstie Allsopp alleges that Kate Middleton was left in tears after approaching her sister-in-law Meghan Markle about her claims of bullying of Kensington Palace staff.
Kirstie, who has a close relationship with Prince Charles’ wife Camilla Parker-Bowles, told The Telegraph that Kate was left in tears after she ‘lost control’ during the altercation with Meghan days before her royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
This isn’t the first time the two royals have gotten into a fight that ended in tears. Meghan claimed that Kate made her weep over a disagreement regarding flower girl outfits in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year.
She told the chat show host: ‘A few days before the wedding, she was upset about something pertaining – yes, the issue was correct – about flower girl dresses, and it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings.’
Meghan claimed that she and Kate had reconciled after Kate gave her flowers and an apology note.
It’s unclear if the feud over the flower girl outfits is identical to the one Kirstie claims occurred over Meghan’s alleged staff bullying.
Nonetheless, both disputes are said to have occurred around the same time, with Kirstie mentioning Kate’s attempt to patch things up with flowers.
Kirstie said: ‘Kate never ever loses her temper, but she found out Meghan was being rude to the staff at Kensington Palace and she was angry with her.
‘Then, Kate burst into tears because she’d lost control and she did take Meghan flowers to try and patch things up,’ she added.
According to The Sun, Meghan and Harry‘s former communications chief, Jason Knauf, allegedly sent an email in 2018 outlining improper behavior by the Duchess.
Meghan’s alleged attitude of staff was ‘totally unacceptable,’ according to Jason Knauf, who added that she ‘seems intent on always having someone in her sights.’
As per Evoke, Meghan has categorically disputed the bullying allegations, claiming that she is the victim of a “calculated smear campaign.”
