Meghan Markle Reportedly Doesn’t Care What Brits Think About Her
According to a royal expert, Meghan Markle has “no intention” of returning to Britain. Royal expert Tom Bower said, “At the moment, Meghan’s ultimate destination is unclear, but she certainly has the backing to make a bid to star as an American politician. In parallel, Britain is a lost cause for the Sussexes.”
“In truth, I suspect Meghan no longer cares whether she is welcome in London. She has no intention of returning,” said Bower, who is referred to as Britain’s “most feared biographer.” The royal expert is currently working on a tell-all Meghan biography.
“After staging a Hollywood-style wedding at Windsor, she spent the next year moaning about her treatment by the British media and the Royal Family,” he said. “Her hypocrisy began to undermine her popularity. Although her reputation in Britain has dropped, Meghan is still admired in America. The Sussex three-day visit to New York last September was a remarkable success.”
Prince Harry and Meghan moved to the United States after stepping down from their royal duties. Archie and Lilibet, the couple’s children, now live in their Montecito mansion in Santa Barbara, California.
Meghan has accompanied the Duke of Sussex while he has been to the United Kingdom on occasions. Experts anticipate Meghan will continue to avoid Britain as a result of their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry’s police protection inquiry, and now Meghan’s diminishing public support.
Phil Dampier, a royal biographer, claimed the situation creates a “very good excuse” for not coming back. “I don’t think Meghan will ever come back to this country and I think this is a very good excuse for not coming back – I don’t think realistically [Harry] expects to win this case.”
As per Latintimes, Harry had planned to sue the British government to give him back the police security he had lost when he stepped down from his royal duties. In the spring, he was scheduled to return to the United Kingdom for Prince Philip’s burial ceremony, and in the summer, for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
In a recent declaration commemorating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the monarch expressed her hope that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will be acknowledged as Queen Consort when the time comes. Meanwhile, neither Harry nor Meghan have issued a statement in response to the news.
