Billie Eilish shares her thoughts on her wild Coachella collaborations with Damon Albarn and Hayley Williams.
“For the rest of her life,” Billie Eilish will remember her Damon Albarn partnership.
On Saturday night (23.04.22), the ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker was joined by the Blur veteran for a performance of ‘Getting Older’ before they treated fans to a rendition of his Gorillaz hit ‘Feel Good Inc,’ and she has reminisced on the amazing event on social media, according to Yahoo.
“I will be thinking about these moments for the rest of my life,” she posted on Instagram, with photos from the concert. No one can ever realize the depths of my love for Damon and everything he is and has achieved in the fields of music and art.
“very few things have ever impacted me the way that HE HAS. oHHHHHHHH JEEEEEEEEEESSSS was this soooo insane for me… (sic)”
On Sunday (24.04.22), the 20-year-old singer performed an acoustic rendition of ‘Misery Business’ before teaming up with Paramore’s Hayley Williams for the show-closing hit ‘Happier Than Ever.’
On Instagram, Billie called Hayley her “favorite girl” and stated, “my heart is fullllll (sic)” about her Coachella experience as a whole.
Hayley’s performance was her first at the music festival, and she expressed her delight to the crowd by saying, “This is my first Coachella, whoa.”
The pair finished the performance with a hug, with Hayley telling the star: ”Thanks for sharing this with me. This is sick!”
Billie then added: “Absolutely what on Earth could be cooler than that? I’m dead serious.”
Hayley had already announced that her band would no longer be performing the song, thus the choice of a tune may have surprised fans.
She stated that some of the lyrics were no longer appropriate and that she would “move away” from the song.
Speaking at a Paramore event back in 2018, Hayley explained: “This is a choice we made because we feel like we should.
“We feel like it’s time to move away from it for a little while.”
