Biden’s Video Claiming That He Never Thinks about Trump Goes Viral

President Joe Biden‘s dismissive response to the suggestion that former President Donald Trump may have put him at risk of COVID has gone viral.

Biden was questioned about reports that Trump had tested positive for the virus before their 2020 presidential debate.

With a smirk on his lips, Biden said that he did not think of the former president before turning to walk away from the podium.

This moment was captured on video and shared on Twitter, where it has been viewed over 200,000 times.

Biden made the remarks after giving a speech on Wednesday at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building about the economy and high pricing of goods.

He also addressed the concerns of inflation going forward and talked up his “Build Back Better” plan. Biden’s entire speech can be viewed here.

When taking questions from the press, ABC News’s Mary Bruce asked: “Mark Meadows has written a book revealing that President Trump tested positive for Covid a few days before your first debate.

“Do you think the former president put you at risk?”

Biden took a pause and said: “I don’t think about the former president, thank you.”

Many fans took to Twitter to express their admiration for Biden while mocking Trump.

One amused viewer wrote: “Bwahaha! I love the President of the United States of America.”

Another added: “LOL, Biden might not be the best at giving speeches but he sure has a talent for delivering one-liners!”

While another wrote: “The ultimate diss, especially when Trump can’t get Biden out of his head.”

And another wrote: “Outstanding! No negative comments or ranting like the other guy would do.”

In a statement released on Wednesday, Trump addressed the notion that he had COVID prior to the debate.

The statement read: “The story of me having COVID prior to, or during, the first debate is Fake News. In fact, a test revealed that I did not have COVID prior to the debate.”

Mark Meadows, Donald Trump‘s former chief of staff, claims in his new memoir, The Chief’s Chief, that Trump tested positive for the virus on September 26, 2020. Two former aides, who also asked to remain unnamed, corroborated this account.

As per Newsweek, Trump would have grounds to anticipate he will be infected during the presidential debate on September 29 based on the timeframes.

The test was then performed using a Binax test, which came out negative, according to the former Trump official.

Although Trump has since refuted Meadow’s allegation that he had COVID at the debate, he earlier praised the book and encouraged people to pre-order it.

In October he said “if you want to learn about politics, truth, our great administration, and exciting achievements that took place in Government” you should order a copy of the book.

He added: “Mark Meadows, our great Chief of Staff during some very exciting White House years, has written a new book entitled The Chief’s Chief.

“Seriously, it’s a fantastic book, and Mark Meadows and his wonderful wife are great people.”
