So, yesterday it hailed in Calabasas and Kim Kardashian was extremely excited and seemed to think she was looking at snow. Which, fair enough! They’re pretty similar.
Picking up balls of ice that were 100 percent not snowflakes, Kim excitedly told her Instagram followers, “Okay, this is insane you guys, it’s snowing and I’m in Calabasas. I don’t know if you can see that but this is absolutely insane.” She later filmed her hail-covered basketball court and said, “This is really crazy. How is this happening? This is insane! My basketball court is white with snow. This is insane! You guys, my basketball court is black, you guys!”

Naturally, it took about two seconds for Twitter to get busy with the important task of poking a little fun at Kim for not knowing the difference between hail and snow:

Kim apparently realized that the internet had joyously banded together to roast her, and she issued a response, saying, “Ok OK I get the message!!! It is HAIL!!! Not SNOW! I’m not a meteorologist people!!!! Never claimed to be! I know I got 30 jobs but a meteorologist ain’t one! If it’s hailing in Calabasas in March I call it snow!!! OKKKKURRRRRR.”
