Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly eager to regain public approval. Royal expert Kinsey Schofield shared insights on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during an interview with TalkTV, highlighting their efforts to improve their public image.

Schofield’s comments come amid a recent backlash against the couple. However, their involvement in charitable initiatives continues to garner support. For instance, ESPN recently released a statement defending their decision to honor Prince Harry for his work with The Invictus Games Foundation.

In that conversation, Ms Schofield pointed out the shock factor to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, “I see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accepting more trophies for awards that I don’t understand what they’re for.”

“I guess they’re trying to buy the public’s respect, they’re trying to buy good PR through networking and creating these opportunities to collect trophies for their mantle, but I think the public sees through these individuals.”

According to The Post, “While we understand not everyone will agree with all honorees selected for any award, The Invictus Games Foundation does incredible work and ESPN believes this is a cause worth celebrating.”

ESPN, with the support of the Tillman Foundation, is honoring Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, specifically for the work of The Invictus Games Foundation as it celebrates its 10th year promoting healing through the power of sport for military service members and veterans around the world,” the statement read.

The Invictus Games, founded by Prince Harry in 2014, have played a significant role in supporting wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women through sports. This initiative has been a cornerstone of Harry’s public service and has brought positive attention to his efforts despite the controversies surrounding his and Meghan’s departure from royal duties.

Schofield noted that the couple’s dedication to their causes, such as the Invictus Games, showcases their genuine desire to make a difference. This focus on meaningful work is a strategic move to rebuild its reputation and connect with the public on important issues.

Since stepping back from their roles as senior royals, Harry and Meghan have faced both criticism and praise for their choices. Their commitment to various philanthropic efforts, including mental health advocacy and environmental issues, has been central to their public persona.
