As the courtroom buzzed with Trump’s fraud trial led by New York Attorney General Letitia James, an unexpected twist stole the spotlight. While Trump was busy swinging his golf club, Judge Arthur Engoron dropped a bombshell, demanding an urgent explanation from Trump’s lawyers.

Why? A controversial post on Trump’s new social platform, Truth Social, targeted the judge’s principal law clerk, a move that already had them under the court’s watchful eye. But the drama didn’t stop there. The same inflammatory post was spotted lurking on Trump’s 2024 campaign website, even after the court’s clear gag order!

With the tension palpable, Judge Engoron expressed his frustration, warning of “serious sanctions” and hinting at possible jail time for Trump if such violations continue. “This is a blatant violation of the gag order,” he declared.

As reported by AP News on Friday, October 20, 2023, Caught in the crosshairs, Trump’s top lawyer, Chris Kise, played the unintentional card, insisting that while they removed the post from Truth Social, a blunder led to it still being on the campaign website. “It is unfortunate, and I apologize on behalf of my client,” Kise said, attempting to extinguish the flames.

But can a simple oversight excuse fly in such a high-profile trial? As the courtroom saga unfolds, all eyes are on Trump’s social media moves, questioning if this golf tournament sidetrack was merely a coincidence or a calculated play in this gripping legal game.
