Hannity’s relocation is part of a broader trend often referred to as the “blue state exodus,” where individuals migrate from traditionally Democratic states like New York and California to Republican-leaning states such as Florida and Texas. Highlighting political reasons for his departure from New York, Hannity praised Florida’s Republican leadership, including Governor Ron DeSantis and Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott. He expressed satisfaction at being represented by politicians who align with his values.
