“He’s So Cool”: Lara Trump Shares Rare Insights Into Barron Trump’s Personality
Barron Trump, the youngest son of President-elect Donald Trump, has remained an enigmatic figure, much like his mother, Melania Trump. However, his half-sister-in-law, Lara Trump, recently provided a rare glimpse into the 18-year-old’s personality during an appearance on the Autism Capital podcast, describing him as “cool” and a “sleeper” who intentionally stays out of the spotlight.
“He’s so cool. He’s like the sleeper. He’s kind of stayed out of the spotlight probably intentionally,” said Lara, who is married to Eric Trump. She went on to praise Barron’s intellect and wit, calling him “really smart, very entertaining,” and adding, “he’s his father’s son, there’s no doubt about it.”
The podcast host, Patrick Bet-David, joked about Barron’s towering height—reportedly 6’10”—and how it makes staying out of the public eye a challenge. “It’s very hard to do when you’re 6’10, by the way. You kind of stick out,” Bet-David quipped. Lara laughed, noting that Barron “makes everyone else seem small” despite her being accustomed to tall family members like Eric and Donald Trump.
Beyond his reserved demeanor and striking height, Barron has reportedly made significant contributions to his father’s 2024 presidential campaign. According to Lara, Barron played a strategic role in shaping Trump’s Gen Z outreach. She recounted moments during the campaign when Barron would call with suggestions. “Barron would call, and he’ll say, ‘Dad, I have an idea as to how you can get more votes,’” she shared, giving him “serious credit” for helping to appeal to younger voters.
Despite this glimpse into Barron’s involvement, fans remain curious to hear more directly from him. On X (formerly Twitter), users voiced their interest in hearing Barron speak. One user wrote, “We have never yet heard his voice. Hard to even imagine him talking.” Another echoed, “When can we expect to hear Barron Trump speak? Would like to see from the man himself.”
Others were more effusive in their praise, with some predicting a bright future for him. “I think Barron is going to be the most successful Trump there is,” one user declared, while another called him “the perfect blend of both of his parents.”
Currently a student at NYU’s Stern School of Business, Barron has not indicated any plans to enter politics. However, those close to him believe he has the potential. “I see all the attributes of a future President if he has the appetite for it,” an insider told Daily Mail. “And why not? He has the Trump genes.”
