Christmas is celebrated on the on 25th December every year. It is widely celebrated by billions of people all around the world. It is one of the most colorful festivals and there are some perks that just make Christmas very special. Christmas is a favorite holiday of both kids and adults. It is the time of the year when it is about to end and you spend time with your family and thank God for all the blessings. Christmas brings people together. Everybody makes sure that they spend Christmas with their family and loved ones no matter how much they have to travel for that.
Since Christmas comes in winters, most of the places are covered with snow and it simply adds to the colors of Christmas. People are building snowman and covering it with red scarfs and hats. Christmas tree is another major attraction of Christmas. The tree is decorated with bulbs, fairy lights, candy canes and other decorations. Under the tree are kept the presents that people give to each other. Opening up all the Christmas presents is another attraction. Christmas sales are also great during the season when you have to buy presents for everybody. People go to the Church for Christmas service which is very special and sing carols.
Christmas is so colorful that every store and every home is decorated. The major colors of decoration are red, white and green. The shops are decorated with lights and other decorations. It is just so pretty to roam around in the streets during Christmas season. Due to the Christmas holiday everybody is out eating or shopping or just roaming around to see the decorations. Airports and hotels have huge Christmas trees which are fully decorated. It is a great festival which is also one of the festivals which is celebrated all around the world on the same date.
