Will Smith found himself on the wrong side of the law when he was cited for speeding along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California. The incident, which took place on March 22, saw the celebrated actor exceeding the speed limit by 18 miles per hour, driving at a speed of 63mph in a zone designated for 45mph.

This stretch of road is known for its picturesque views but also its potential dangers, a fact underscored by reports that 58 people have lost their lives on this highway over the past 14 years. The authorities in the area are known to enforce speed limits rigorously, especially given the tragic history associated with the highway.

This was highlighted by a recent accident in October 2023, where four students from Pepperdine University met with a fatal accident when their vehicle, traveling at 104mph, spiraled out of control. For his infraction, Smith was fined nearly $400, a penalty reflective of the seriousness with which local law enforcement treats speeding violations on this notorious stretch of road, reported via TMZ.

In a lighter vein, fans of Will Smith have something to look forward to as the official trailer for “Bad Boys 4” was released, rekindling the dynamic partnership between Smith and Martin Lawrence. The duo is set to return to the big screen, reprising their roles as the fearless crime-fighting pair in Miami, Florida. The latest sequel, titled “Bad Boys 4: Ride Or Die,” boasts an impressive cast that includes Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Nuñez, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Jacob Scipio, Melanie Liburd, Tasha Smith, and Tiffany Haddish, promising an action-packed cinematic experience.

This new installment in the “Bad Boys” saga not only marks Will Smith’s comeback to major commercial cinema but is also eagerly anticipated by fans around the globe. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 7, setting the stage for what is expected to be a blockbuster summer hit.
