In recent years, the only thing more divisive than Kanye West are the Yeezy shoes he creates, but people who love them, really love them.
The latest evidence of this came on Saturday morning (6 March) when the latest drop from Kanye’s Yeezy collection – the 450s, which are said to boast an ‘alien-like silhouette – sold out in less than a minute.
The Yeezy 450s, which retail for £145, sold out before many people even had a chance to log and buy them from Adidas’ new Confirmed app or to find them on the YeezySupply.com site. A fact that didn’t go down too well with Yeezy enthusiasts.
Any fans who didn’t manage to cop a pair can still get their hands on the Yeezy 450s on resale sites like StockX, where they’re currently going for around double the retail price. Alternatively, they can wait for the Dark Slate (Black) version of the shoe to drop in the not-too-distant future.
They don’t have release date yet, but it’ll probably be around the time Kanye has finished counting all the money he made from this release. So don’t expect them anytime soon.
