Kanye West faced backlash on Monday after sharing and quickly deleting a provocative photo of his wife, Bianca Censori, on Instagram. The image, which showed the Australian architect, 30, in an extremely revealing bikini, left little to the imagination and was visible to West’s 20.3 million followers.
Fans were outraged, accusing the 47-year-old rapper of disrespecting his wife by putting her “on public display.” “What normal man would want to do that?” one commenter asked.
“I can’t imagine putting anyone truly loved on public display like that,” another added, while a third said, “A man who does this to his wife does not love his wife.”
According to the Daily Mail, Criticism poured in, with one user writing, “He has no respect for her, she has no respect for herself. I think they deserve each other.” Another called it “shameful,” saying, “This is a man who has NO respect for his wife whatsoever!”
The photo, shared via West’s Instagram Stories, showed Censori’s body in the tiny bikini, though her face was cropped out. The post was deleted shortly after being uploaded.
This isn’t the first time the couple has sparked controversy. Last summer, an Italian boat rental company banned them for life following an indecent exposure incident in Venice. West was photographed with his bare buttocks exposed during an intimate moment with Censori on a water taxi.
The incident drew widespread condemnation, with critics calling for Italian authorities to take action. “How are these two not arrested for lewd behavior?” one person wrote. Another agreed, “Public indecency! Keep it for the privacy of your own home.”
The couple also drew criticism for their unconventional wardrobe choices during their stay in Italy, with Censori frequently seen wearing see-through outfits that left little to the imagination. Locals and online commenters expressed frustration over what they viewed as inappropriate attire in a conservative Catholic country.
