Rita Ora Shares Bikini Snap Before Flying Out to Shoot Fifty Shades
It’s 5° Celsius in Vancouver right now, so it’s no wonder Rita Ora wanted to catch some rays before she flew out to the Canadian city. So the popstar spent a few days hanging by a pool in Los Angeles to soak up the sun ahead of filming for the upcoming Fifty Shades Of Grey movie. Rita Ora – who has reportedly split from DJ boyfriend Calvin Harris – shared a picture of herself in a purple bikini before her flight to Canada, and in doing so, displayed in full view her tattoo of a woman caressing their breast. The image is inked on the side of her body, and is one of many tattoos that the singer has across her petite frame.
She also shared a picture of her knees overlooking the pool with the caption: ‘Last minute sun just before Vancouver!! #Mia #50’. Rita Ora has landed the coveted role of Mia in the film adaption of E. L. James’ erotic novel series. Her character is the younger adoptive sister of Jamie Dornan’s Christian Grey, a handsome yet solitary businessman with a penchant for BDSM, who falls for timid college student Anastasia ‘Ana’ Steele. Dakota Johnson has already begun filming scenes as Ana with Dornan in Vancouver, though the book is actually set in Vancouver, Washington, so the University of British Columbia is serving as Washington State University.
But production for the movie hasn’t got off to the best of starts, with not only the lead male protagonist been changed and pushing production back – Charlie Hunnam dropped out because of scheduling conflicts with his TV series Sons Of Anarchy – but Universal Pictures had to file a lawsuit to prevent the production of a porn equivalent. Smash Pictures had planned to film Fifty Shades Of Grey:
A XXX Adaption for release last year, but Universal had sued for copyright infringement, stating that ‘a quickly and cheaply produced pornographic work that is likely to cause Plaintiffs irreparable harm by poisoning public perception of the Fifty Shades Trilogy and the forthcoming Universal films.’
The case didn’t got to court as a settlement was made, and Smash agreed to stop further production. Now the film is aiming for a Valentine’s Day 2015 release, and has already caused other films to push their opening date back so as not to compete with the movie based on the best-selling book series. -Dailymail
