In a recent Instagram post, Amy saw an opportunity, and she took it, to tease Liam when he revealed he “fell in love” with a “taken” woman while filming his new film Blacklight.
The actress teased the celebrity with a screenshot of a Daily Mail headline. “Taken 4? @dailymail,” she wrote, implying that this could be the plot of his future film.
Fans and followers reacted positively to the pun.
“Not taken 4, Amy,” one user commented.
While another person added, “Well if we know anything about Liam Neeson, it’s that he won’t rest until he gets her back.”
The witty remark comes after Liam told Australia’s Sunrise that he “loved” filming in Melbourne “They had a great sense of humor. I made a couple of pals, fell in love once there, but she was taken.”
The mysterious Melbourne woman wasn’t the only aspect of the encounter that he enjoyed. In an interview with Sunrise, Liam also revealed that he had to return to quarantine before filming.
As he recalled, “I knew there were two weeks of lockdown [in] Sydney, which I thoroughly enjoyed.”
As per Yahoo, Liam went on to say that his pleasant stay was due to a “good hotel” and the friendliness of a group of Irish nurses who gave him Irish bread or scones throughout his quarantine period.
Since the terrible death of his wife Natasha Richardson in 2009, the actor has kept his dating life private.
However, in 2014, he spoke up about his mourning on 60 Minutes, telling Anderson Cooper, “There are periods now in our New York residence when I hear the door opening, especially the first couple of years. Anytime I hear that door opening, I still think I’m going to hear her.”
