Sarah Ferguson, affectionately known as Fergie, has reportedly dismissed the notion of remarrying her ex-husband Prince Andrew, emphasizing her preference for personal freedom over returning to the royal spotlight.

Royal historian Marlene Koenig, in her interview with Express US, dispelled the circulating rumors about the couple’s potential remarriage. She pointed out that Ferguson, who still shares a residence with the Duke at Royal Lodge, is unwilling to compromise her autonomy for a renewed marital bond. “Remarrying would mean losing the freedom she now enjoys, particularly in her professional endeavors,” Koenig explained.

The historian further commented on the couple’s current living arrangement, highlighting its advantages for Ferguson and her ability to make independent decisions without seeking approval from higher authorities. Koenig firmly believes that the pair will not remarry, especially considering Prince Andrew’s ongoing controversies and his permanent exclusion from royal duties and patronages.

Additionally, another source corroborated Koenig’s views, stating that Ferguson has no interest in remarrying Andrew. The source noted that she cherishes her current relationship with him and their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, following their divorce.

In her own words, Ferguson has previously addressed these speculations. In an interview with The Telegraph, she described their unique relationship, “We’re the most contented divorced couple in the world. We’re divorced to each other, not from each other.” This statement underlines their commitment to co-parenting and mutual respect, despite the end of their marital union.
