In an interview with Fox News Digital, British broadcaster and royal commentator Helena Chard shed light on the troubled dynamic, pointing to what she described as Prince Harry’s increasingly combative stance toward the monarchy.

“As long as litigious, paranoid, warring Prince Harry keeps fighting with the world, the royal family, and especially King Charles, the dynamic will remain the same,” Chard said.
The relationship, already tested by the explosive Harry & Meghan Netflix docuseries and a series of tell-all interviews, has deteriorated further amid growing “trust issues,” Chard noted. These trust deficits have left the royal household reluctant to share sensitive information with Harry, fearing it could be leaked to the press.
“The royal family will not release personal information to Prince Harry for fear of his regurgitating the information to the media,” she explained.
This breakdown in communication reportedly led to a particularly painful moment earlier this year, when Harry learned of his father’s recent hospital visit through news reports rather than direct contact.
