As Prince Harry approaches his 40th birthday, reports suggest he is planning a weekend getaway with some of his closest friends. However, royal experts have issued a warning about the potential risks of the trip, particularly given Harry’s past party antics.

The Duke of Sussex, who turns 40 later this week, is rumored to be planning a boys’ trip, with his wife Meghan Markle reportedly not joining him. While the destination remains undisclosed, royal expert Charles Rae cautioned Harry about avoiding any behavior that could cause issues with Meghan. Rae referenced Harry’s infamous 2012 trip to Las Vegas, where photos of the prince playing naked billiards with women went viral, leading to widespread media coverage.

Rae pointed out that Harry’s current circumstances are very different from his past, saying, “He’s married with children now, and he must avoid causing any problems with his wife.” He warned that Harry should be mindful not to repeat the kind of wild behavior he was known for in his younger years, such as the 2012 Las Vegas incident or the 2011 party in Croatia, where Harry was seen diving fully clothed into a pool and dancing barefoot at a rave.

Speaking to GB News, Rae said, “Let’s just hope that Harry doesn’t end up doing what he did in 2012… He’s got two children, and if he’s got an ounce of brain in his body, he won’t get up to anything that could cause him any problems with his wife. She won’t be taking prisoners if he does.”

It remains unclear if any members of the Royal Family will be part of Harry’s trip, given his strained relationship with his brother Prince William. However, Harry is still close to his cousin, Princess Eugenie, who could potentially join him.

The birthday trip is expected to follow a family celebration at Harry and Meghan’s Montecito mansion in California. According to The Sun, the family party will include Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Afterward, Harry may head off with friends like his longtime polo partner, Nacho Figueras, for a more private celebration.
