Prince Harry is being urged to put the drama aside and reach out to his father, King Charles, while he’s back in the UK. With the Duke of Sussex currently in London for a legal case over his taxpayer-funded security, many are hoping he’ll use the opportunity to visit his ailing father — especially after the King’s recent hospital stay.
Arthur Edwards, the long-time Royal photographer, shared his thoughts in The Sun, saying, “The King being admitted to hospital 10 days ago must have alarmed Harry. And it is sad that the Duke of Sussex no longer feels able to go and see his father.”

Edwards acknowledged the ongoing feud between Harry and Prince William, which has shown no signs of healing. “I know there is really bad blood between William and Harry, which it seems is never going to be put to bed. But I sincerely hope Harry can hang on a few more days after this court case has ended and make the first steps towards a reconciliation by going to see his father at the weekend,” he added.

Harry has kept his distance from the Royal Family since stepping down from his senior duties in 2020 with Meghan Markle. The couple’s departure was followed by explosive interviews, where they openly criticized the monarchy and even accused some members of racism towards their son, Prince Archie. Since then, Harry and Meghan have built a new life in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
But with King Charles’ health now a growing concern, the calls for Harry to reconnect have grown louder. While his return to the UK is officially tied to his legal battle over losing taxpayer-funded protection, it hasn’t gone unnoticed that this trip might be a chance to do something far more personal — make peace with his father.

So far, there’s been no official word on whether Harry plans to visit the King. But for many Royal watchers, the message is simple: whatever happened in the past, now’s the time to make things right.
