Prince Andrew reaction to Sarah Ferguson joining ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ laid bare

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, is reportedly in talks for a major role in ITV’s reality show ‘Celebrity Big Boss’, following her appearance on ‘This Morning’. According to The Mirror, ITV executives are considering making a substantial offer of £500,000 to secure her participation in the show.

This potential move is viewed as a significant achievement by the show’s bosses, who are prepared to make a generous offer to Fergie. While it’s yet to be confirmed if the Duchess will accept the proposal, her ex-husband Prince Andrew is said to be supportive of her ventures in television.

Despite their divorce, Sarah and Andrew have maintained a close relationship, residing together at the Royal Lodge on the Windsor estate. Ferguson recently co-hosted and guest-edited an episode of ‘This Morning’, a decision reportedly influenced by Prince Andrew.

This development arises amidst financial challenges faced by Prince Andrew, particularly concerning a £2 million repair bill for their residence. He has been negotiating with the Crown Estate and was expected to vacate the Royal Lodge to move into Frogmore Cottage, the former residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, King Charles granted him a temporary reprieve from eviction earlier this year.
