Meghan Feared Harry Would Regret Moving to America, But Couple Now Focuses on Fun and Long-Term Happiness

Meghan Markle is reportedly growing increasingly concerned about Prince Harry’s homesickness and the possibility that he might regret his decision to leave the U.K., insiders claim.

In a candid conversation with OK! Magazine, a source close to the couple revealed Meghan’s ongoing fears but noted that Harry has firmly committed to their life in America.

“Meghan always worried that Harry would regret moving to America—but she knows he’s here for the long-term, even though it took him a while to adapt,” the insider shared. “And they now want to have more fun together.”

The couple, who share two children, Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, are reportedly prioritizing their marriage and looking to reconnect through quality time.

“They have promised more date nights and weekends away together now that the kids are that bit older,” the source explained. “And they are going to be as honest as possible and to have more couple friends.”

Looking ahead, Harry and Meghan are also focused on building meaningful experiences as a family. According to the insider, “They want to do more family trips to Europe and stay at their home in Portugal, which might even result in a reconciliation with Harry’s family, eventually.”

The source emphasized that the couple is determined to put their relationship and family first, especially after navigating years of public scrutiny and challenges since stepping back as senior royals.

“They have promised to put each other first and do what is best for them as a couple and family,” the insider concluded.

The revelations come amid ongoing speculation about Prince Harry’s feelings of homesickness and his ties to the U.K. Despite the distance, the couple appears committed to nurturing their bond and creating a balanced life together.

Their renewed focus on date nights, trips, and fostering stronger friendships suggests they are determined to strengthen their foundation both as partners and as parents. Additionally, the possibility of reconnecting with Harry’s family during future European visits offers a glimpse of hope for mending strained relationships.

For now, Harry and Meghan seem intent on prioritizing their happiness and shared goals, embracing a future that reflects their values as a couple and as a family.
