Royal expert Jennie Bond shared insights into Kate’s struggles in an interview with the Mirror. “Like most mums, Catherine will have conflicting emotions about the end of the school holidays,” Bond explained. “Entertaining three children day after day—especially when there must still be days when she is feeling the effects of her cancer treatment—can’t always have been easy in these past few weeks,” she added. As Kate prepares to return from her summer break in Scotland, she is eager to resume her routine and focus on her responsibilities.
Bond noted that the end of the holidays will offer Kate a chance to find some balance. “It will give Catherine the chance to rest quietly when she needs it without feeling guilty that she’s not with the children,” Bond said. This period will also allow Kate to continue working on the campaigns and projects that are close to her heart.
