Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is expected to take a significant step toward healing the ongoing rift between her husband, Prince William, and brother-in-law, Prince Harry, now that she has completed her preventative chemotherapy, according to royal expert Katie Nicholl.

Speaking with The Sun, Nicholl suggested that Kate’s recent health challenges and cancer treatment may have provided her with a new perspective on life, potentially making her more open to reconciling with Harry despite his public criticisms of her and the royal family.

“Kate’s been thrown under the bus by Harry, he’s said hurtful things about her, he’s brought the children into the narrative,” Nicholl explained. “I think the Prince of Wales remains very, very angry and upset and feels very betrayed.”

However, Nicholl also noted that Kate might still be open to reconciliation. “Possibly the Princess of Wales is still open to a reconciliation in some form. I still feel it’s quite early,” she added. The royal expert emphasized that after confronting her own health struggles, Kate may realize the importance of family unity.

“But I do think when you go through something like a cancer diagnosis and you go through the sort of journey that she has done, and you confront your own mortality, you realize life is short. It’s far too short for rifts and family feuds,” Nicholl said.

Furthermore, Nicholl suggested that Kate could play a pivotal role in mending the divide between the brothers, highlighting the symbolic importance of the royal family. “And perhaps that will be a role that she will play at some point in healing that rift because I think we look to the royal family as a symbol of unity,” she noted.

As Christmas approaches, it will mark the sixth consecutive year that Harry has not been part of the royal celebrations. Nicholl believes that the royal family’s image of togetherness will be crucial, saying, “We will want to see them together at Christmas… I do think it’s important.”

Kate’s potential efforts to heal the rift between William and Harry could signal a new chapter for the royal family, emphasizing empathy and unity despite the challenges they have faced.
