Prince Harry is reportedly “petrified” of Meghan Markle and fears losing her, according to royal expert Hugo Vickers. The Duke of Sussex is said to be silently supporting his wife’s expanding business ventures out of fear that he might jeopardize their relationship if he does not stand by her.
Speaking to The Sun, Vickers offered a blunt assessment of Harry’s current situation within the Sussex household. “There are other people who are much better at telling you these things, there are other people who are better at doing cookery programmes,” Vickers remarked. “I mean, they’re sort of latching on to things, well, she is in particular. It’s just hard to see where it’s going.”

Vickers suggested that Meghan’s foray into multiple industries—ranging from lifestyle programming to business projects—appears increasingly scattered. Despite this, Harry appears committed to supporting her endeavors, perhaps more out of fear than strategic partnership.
“I hate to say it, but my feeling at the end of the day is that Prince Harry is petrified of her and petrified of losing her,” Vickers said candidly. The royal commentator went on to claim that Harry has not merely been a bystander to the couple’s decisions but an active participant. However, Vickers hinted that Harry may have been pressured into some of these moves.
“He’s been complicit in a lot of the things that have gone on, although I think he’s been made to do many things,” he added. Since stepping down from royal duties in 2020 and relocating to the United States, Harry and Meghan have pursued a range of new projects, from multimillion-dollar media deals to launching lifestyle brands.
