Speculation around the potential divorce of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has been rebuffed by a branding and culture expert. Friends of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex vehemently refute the suggestions, affirming that the couple is still “very much in love” and “happy together.”
Responding to the rumors, one media analyst expressed that it’s more probable that the Sussexes are engrossed in their family life. PR expert Nick Ede opined that Harry and Meghan probably aren’t overly concerned about the criticisms they face.
Nick’s reflections on the parents-of-two suggest they are currently prioritizing their family. He dismissed the reports insinuating their five-year marriage might be experiencing difficulties.
Nick hypothesized, “I think they are nesting and just figuring out their next career moves. Besides, they will be busy raising their rapidly growing children.”
Nick perceives that while the Sussexes might be mildly annoyed by the allegations surrounding their marriage, they’re used to their lives being scrutinized in the headlines. He quipped, “I suspect it will bother them. But after facing rumors for so long, this might be like water off a duck’s back. Or rather, a Duke’s back!”
Despite the reported ‘rift’ between Harry and his brother, Prince William, Nick asserts that Harry can depend on his family for support when needed. He pointed out Harry’s close relationship with his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, saying, “So I am sure they will be ensuring both Harry and Meghan receive support.”
Nick also proposed that following a relatively quiet period media-wise, Harry and Meghan might “come back with a bang.” He said, “You can either stay quiet, let people speculate, and carry on with your life, or you could do a sit-down interview to set the record straight. Regardless of their choice, they’re likely to face criticism, an inherent aspect of their fame and celebrity.”
