Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly in disagreement over their Christmas plans, as the Duke of Sussex expresses a strong desire to celebrate the holiday with his extended family in the UK. According to The Express, Harry is keen to spend Christmas with his mother Princess Diana’s side of the family, the Spencers.

The couple has received an invitation from the Spencers, but an insider claims that Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is hesitant about the idea. If Meghan were to agree, it would mark her first significant visit to the UK since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in 2022.

An insider shared with the publication, “Harry is keen for the Sussexes to spend time in the UK this Christmas with family.” The suggestion comes after Harry carried out solo engagements in both New York City and the UK, without Meghan by his side.

Addressing Meghan’s absence, an expert speculated that her reluctance may stem from public sentiment. Speaking with GB News, Kelvin MacKenzie commented on the situation, suggesting that Meghan’s absence might be linked to her perception of public reception in the UK. When asked if Harry’s solo appearances indicate potential “trouble in paradise,” MacKenzie remarked, “All I would say is she [Meghan] clearly doesn’t want to be here.”

The situation highlights a possible conflict within the Sussexes’ relationship, with Harry wanting to reconnect with his UK family while Meghan remains uncertain about making the trip. The decision on whether they will spend Christmas in the UK could be a telling moment for the couple as they navigate their family dynamics and public perception.
