Trump’s ‘SAVE RUDY’ Plea Sparks Outpouring of Support for Giuliani Amid Legal Battles

Former President Donald Trump ignited a wave of support for Rudy Giuliani on Sunday with just two words posted on Truth Social: “SAVE RUDY!!!” The all-caps plea rallied top MAGA figures to voice their support for Giuliani, Trump’s longtime ally and the former mayor of New York City, who is facing mounting legal and financial challenges.
Giuliani spokesman Ted Goodman echoed Trump’s sentiment, highlighting Giuliani’s contributions to New York and the nation. “President Trump says we must #SaveRudy. Mayor Giuliani lifted countless people out of poverty, took down the Mafia, cleaned up Wall Street, saved New York, and comforted the nation following 9/11.
Thank you, President Trump. The politically motivated legal proceedings must end!” Goodman said. The post reverberated across social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter). Michael R. Caputo, a close Trump ally, questioned the state of the nation, asking, “What have we become?” Meanwhile, Giuliani’s son, Andrew H. Giuliani, responded enthusiastically, writing, “Thank you, President Trump! SAVE RUDY!!!”
Fox News contributor Sara A. Carter joined the conversation, alleging political bias in Giuliani’s legal troubles. “YES, Save Rudy… The Dems, Biden, Clinton sycophants weaponized the courts forcing Rudy to pay $140 million for questioning election integrity in a nation where we are supposed to be free to question,” Carter wrote.
She also linked Giuliani’s plight to broader grievances about Democratic actions, referencing figures like John Brennan, James Clapper, and James Comey. “I should know — John Solomon and I were the first to report on this mess,” she added.
Popular MAGA influencer Gunther Eagleman™ shared his outrage, writing, “America’s Mayor has been abused more than most under the Biden Stasi. SAVE RUDY!” Similarly, novelist JP Vargas praised Giuliani’s legacy, lamenting what he saw as the decline of the city Giuliani once revitalized.
“He made New York great after the eighties and nineties. And that’s how they chose to repay him. Then they proceeded to destroy his city and turn it into the dumpster fire it is now,” Vargas wrote.
