Irish authorities have launched an investigation into vandalism at President Donald Trump’s golf course in Ireland, which coincided with Trump’s meeting with the Irish Prime Minister in the Oval Office, BBC News reported.
“Gardaí (Irish police) are investigating after what is described as ‘criminal damage’ was caused to the Trump International Golf Links Ireland in Doonbeg, County Clare,” reported Kevin Sharkey. “BBC News NI understands that the damage was confined to the course, and it included graffiti linked to the Israel-Gaza conflict in the Middle East.”

According to the report, the graffiti called for Palestinian liberation and criticized Trump’s stance in support of Israel amid the ongoing war in Gaza, which has continued since the October 7 terrorist attack. The incident mirrors a similar act of vandalism by pro-Palestinian demonstrators at Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland.
The Trump Organization has owned the Irish golf property since 2014. Meanwhile, Trump’s meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin was marked by several awkward moments, including one instance where he became confrontational with a reporter he seemingly did not realize was employed by his own administration.
Since Trump’s return to the presidency, widespread protests have erupted not only against him but also against tech billionaire Elon Musk. Many demonstrators have targeted Tesla vehicles in response to Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency task force.

In a suspected incident in Seattle earlier this month, several Tesla Cybertrucks were set on fire while parked in a fenced lot, resulting in some vehicles being deemed total losses. The attack escalated further when a reporter covering the incident was threatened with a knife. Firefighters have not yet officially confirmed whether the fire was an act of arson.
As investigations continue into these acts of vandalism, authorities are monitoring the growing unrest directed at both Trump and Musk, raising concerns about the broader implications of these politically charged attacks.
