Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, is widely known for his fondness for buffets and indulgence in desserts and fast food. However, insiders close to the Republican leader have revealed a significant transformation in his dietary habits. Influenced by the advice of his wife Melania, Trump has embarked on a strict diet, resulting in a remarkable weight loss of at least 30 pounds, according to sources cited by Page Six.

In the past, Trump was frequently spotted savoring chocolate cake with two scoops of vanilla ice cream or indulging in ice cream sundaes. However, Melania’s intervention has prompted a shift towards a more health-conscious diet, even leading him to avoid the alluring offerings of the Mar-a-Lago buffet at his Florida club.

The former President, who has been actively considering a run in the 2024 presidential election, recently received a glowing health report from his physician, Dr. Bruce Aronwald, in November 2023. The New York Post reported that Dr. Aronwald issued an official statement affirming, “I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent.”

The statement further elaborated on Trump’s health, highlighting that his physical exams fell well within the normal range, his cognitive exams were exceptional, and cardiovascular studies returned normal results. Additionally, all cancer screening tests yielded negative results. Trump’s weight reduction was attributed to an improved diet, daily physical activity, and a rigorous schedule.

On the other hand, Melania Trump, a former model born in Slovenia, has long adhered to a strict dietary regimen. She aims to consume a minimum of seven servings of fruit daily. In an exclusive 2016 interview with GQ, Melania shared her dietary preferences, mentioning that she occasionally indulges in snacks like fruit or a bit of chocolate to satisfy cravings.

Her daily routine typically commences with a nutritious breakfast, often consisting of fiber-rich oatmeal or a nutrient-dense smoothie with minimal ingredients. Melania emphasizes the importance of balance in dietary choices and occasionally indulging in personal cravings while maintaining a healthy overall diet.

Expressing her steadfast support for her husband’s potential re-election campaign, the former First Lady conveyed her confidence in Trump’s ability to lead the nation toward greatness and prosperity. Melania Trump stated on Fox News, “My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again.”

She reiterated her unwavering support, emphasizing their joint commitment to restoring hope for the future and guiding America with love and strength. Notably, France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron, offered insights into Melania’s role within the Trump family during an exclusive interview with Paris Match. Macron described Melania as someone who keeps “a firm hand on her husband.”

She humorously recounted how Melania would subtly signal the end of dinner by tapping her watch, and Trump would obediently comply. Macron praised Melania’s strong personality while noting her ability to maintain a certain level of reserve. She characterized Melania as “very sweet” and highlighted her tendency to downplay her strong personality. Macron concluded by remarking that Melania Trump was someone who laughed easily but often kept her emotions more discreet than herself.
