Trump Revives Conspiracy Theory About Justin Trudeau’s Parentage in Upcoming Book

Former President Donald Trump has reignited a long-debunked conspiracy theory regarding the parentage of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in his upcoming coffee table book, Save America. Trump has once again suggested that Trudeau’s real father could be the late Cuban leader Fidel Castro, a baseless claim that has circulated for years.
According to the Daily Mail, this is not the first time Trudeau has been targeted by Trump’s remarks, as the former president made similar statements during a recent podcast appearance. During an interview with streamer Adin Ross, as reported by TMZ, Trump was shown photos of various world leaders, including Trudeau.
Trump used the opportunity to not only link Trudeau to Castro but also to make disparaging comments about Trudeau’s mother, Margaret. He alleged that Margaret “slept with all of the Rolling Stones.” The Daily Mail also obtained an excerpt from Trump’s book, which details the strained relationship between the U.S. and Canada during his presidency.
In Save America, Trump wrote: “Justin Trudeau and I got along very well, but there were natural differences in that he is very Liberal, and I, to put it mildly, am not. It will be very interesting to see how we do in the future, but first, I have to get there (back to the White House).” He then turned his attention to Margaret Trudeau, stating, “His mother was beautiful and wild.
In the 1970s, she would go clubbing with the Rolling Stones, but she was also somehow associated with Fidel Castro. She said he was the sexiest man I’ve ever met, and a lot of people say that Justin is his son. He swears that he isn’t, but how the hell would he know?” The Canadian government dismissed this conspiracy theory back in 2018, as The Mirror reported, clarifying that Margaret was already married to Pierre Trudeau when Justin was born in 1971, four years before she visited Cuba.
In a 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Margaret recounted attending a private Rolling Stones concert in Toronto after separating from Pierre, sparking rumors of her involvement with the band. She later dated actors Ryan O’Neal and Jack Nicholson and spent time with Andy Warhol.
Diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2000, Margaret has since become an advocate for mental health awareness. Despite these clarifications, Trump’s latest remarks have brought the baseless rumors back into the spotlight, prompting renewed discussion of the bizarre claims.
