Trump says he will share ‘irrefutable report’ on fraud in Georgia

Former US President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday his intention to unveil a “large, detailed, but irrefutable” report next week, which he believes should lead to the dismissal of all charges against him. This declaration, made on the ‘Truth Social’ platform, follows his recent indictment by a Georgia grand jury over alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Trump plans to present this report in a news conference on Monday in Bedminster, New Jersey. He said, “Based on the results of this definitive report, all charges against me and others should be dropped. They pursued those seeking the truth, not the actual culprits of election rigging.”

The charges leveled against Trump were initiated by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and involve alleged violations of Georgia’s anti-racketeering law, conspiracy, making false statements, and soliciting a public official to breach their oath.

In response to the indictment, Trump labeled it as a “complete breakdown of democracy.”

Additionally, Trump is facing charges in three other jurisdictions: Manhattan, Miami, and Washington, DC. Combined, these charges could result in a potential prison sentence of over 700 years, according to the New York Post.

In the Georgia case, eighteen others, including Trump’s attorneys Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Kenneth Chesebro, and key personnel such as former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, have also been indicted.

While Trump has maintained his innocence concerning the New York and federal allegations, he contends that these charges are politically motivated attempts by Democrats to obstruct his potential return to the White House.
