Donald Trump was filmed on Wednesday hurling profanity-filled insults at Joe Biden from his golf cart before making a savage dig at VP Kamala Harris. The 78-year-old former president, dressed in golfing attire, was seen breezing around the course, carelessly boasting in an expletive-filled rant. “How did I do with the debate the other night? I kicked that old, broken-down pile of c**p. He’s quitting the race,” he declared—a claim that Democrats have denied this week.

Trump went on to assert that Harris would replace Biden as the Democratic nominee, calling her “so f****g bad” and “pathetic.” The video appeared to show Barron Trump sitting alongside his father in the golf cart.

Meanwhile, in a call with campaign staff on Wednesday, President Joe Biden reportedly told his team, “No one is pushing me out.” This bold, defiant claim comes amid rumors that high-ranking members of his own party are attempting to have him replaced as the nominee for the presidency as he runs for reelection this November, reported The Mirror.

A campaign aide, who spoke to The Associated Press under the condition of anonymity, revealed the nature of the phone call. Additionally, three other insiders told the news agency that both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris made surprise appearances on another call the same day with the Democratic National Committee.

“I am running. I am the leader of the Democratic Party. No one is pushing me out,” the aide posted on X. Other officials revealed that the later call with the Democratic National Committee was a pep talk, stressing the stakes of the election as committee members implored Biden to adhere to his comments following the disastrous debate last Thursday, during which he appeared frail and stumbled through some answers.

The leaked quotes are just one of several efforts being made by the president and his top aides as they engage in damage control, attempting to secure key allies who seemed to forsake him after his debate performance.

Reports indicate that Democrats have been largely unsatisfied with the explanations Biden and White House officials have given regarding his performance, which included claims that he was sick at the time. These excuses have sparked deep frustration among many Democrats, who would have liked to have seen Biden handle questions differently and address concerns sooner.

Trump’s bravado comes after a new date has been set for his sentencing following a postponement due to a recent Supreme Court ruling granting him absolute immunity for official actions taken while in office.= The new date is set for September 18, less than two months before the November election that will see Trump pitted against President Joe Biden.

This sentencing date follows the Republican National Convention, which is expected to nominate Trump as the Republican Party’s candidate for the presidency. Judge Juan Mechan specified that the date would only remain “if such is still necessary,” acknowledging the ongoing uncertainties following the Supreme Court’s landmark 6-3 ruling on Monday.
