Travis Barker’s ex Shanna Moakler says she has ‘her own reasons for not liking the Kardashians’

Shanna Moakler, the former wife of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, has revealed that she harbors personal resentment towards the Kardashians, although she chose not to disclose the specific reasons.

At 48 years old, the model spoke candidly about sharing parenting duties with Barker, who is now Kourtney Kardashian’s spouse. In an interview with PageSix, Moakler mentioned, “I have personal reasons for my disdain towards the Kardashians, but I won’t delve into details. However, my primary concern is my children’s well-being and their happiness.”

Moakler and Barker tied the knot in 2004 and parted ways in 2008. They co-parent two kids: Landon, 20, and Alabama, 18. Moakler also has a daughter, Atiana De La Hoya, from her relationship with Oscar De La Hoya, a professional boxer.

Barker’s ex-wife pointed out a significant transformation in his personality since their marriage. “He’s evolved into a completely different person. He’s not the man I once knew. In fact, I hardly recognize him now.”

The pair, both 29 at the time, had their own MTV reality series called Meet the Barkers from 2005 to 2008.

Since Barker started dating the Poosh founder, Kourtney Kardashian, in 2021, there have been rumors about a potential rift between Moakler and Kourtney. Barker and Kourtney exchanged vows in May 2022 and are eagerly expecting their first child.

Moakler took a swipe at Kourtney in a social media comment in April, replying to a fan’s remark, “She seems more invested in my children than hers.”

Kourtney, the mother to three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick, had earlier clarified her decision to limit the exposure of her children on Instagram, adding that they aren’t particularly fond of it.

Previously, Moakler has expressed strong disapproval of Barker’s relationship with Kourtney, terming it “unpalatable” and “strange”, as reported by PageSix.

She addressed this during her stint on the Miss Understood with Rachel Uchitel podcast, affirming, “I don’t have anything positive to say. It’s not driven by bitterness or jealousy. I wish them well, but I find the entire situation bizarre.”

In response to these comments, Kourtney indirectly voiced her thoughts on her Instagram story, promoting positivity and love over criticism and hate.
