Ruby Stewart, daughter of rock legend Rod Stewart, has once again found herself in the midst of controversy after criticizing President Donald Trump on social media. The 37-year-old British model faced backlash from Trump supporters after speaking out about the removal of Congressman Al Green from Congress for heckling Trump during his recent address.
Sharing a news article about the incident on her Instagram Story, Ruby questioned the fairness of the situation. “Was Marjorie Taylor Greene carried out by security when she interrupted Biden’s State of the Union? No,” she wrote. “You know why? Because the First Amendment applies to everyone. That includes those who disagree with your views…”

Ruby, who is the second youngest of Rod Stewart’s children, further expressed her frustration, writing: “Welcome to the Trump regime… where your freedom of speech only counts when it aligns with Trump’s views….” Trump supporters were quick to defend the former president.
One user named Erin sent Ruby a direct message, arguing that Green’s removal was justified. “He was being rude, disrespectful, and arrogant. Glad he got the boot – the rest of the Dems learned a hard life lesson and kept their mouths shut. If you can’t be respectful – don’t go,” the message read. Ruby didn’t hold back in her response.
“Karen… Sorry, I meant Erin… Silly me… We Democrats will NEVER keep our mouths shut… That includes those who disagree with your views…” she wrote, doubling down on her stance. She continued, “So get used to us interrupting your little cult meetings… Also, do yourself a favor and unfollow me if it gets your panties in a bunch…”
Signing off her response, Ruby added a nonchalant “Byyyeeeee,” captioning the exchange as “Just another day of spring cleaning.” Ruby, who resides in the U.S. with her family, has been openly critical of Trump’s efforts to reclaim the Oval Office, Mirror US reports.
