Rachel Maddow Busts Trump For Week Old Pre-Taped Debate Night Tucker Carlson Interview

Rachel Maddow highlighted that while other candidates were engaged in debate, Trump opted out, preparing instead for RICO charges in Georgia and sharing a week-old interview with Tucker Carlson on the platform previously recognized as Twitter.

Maddow commented, “The polls indicate that former President Trump is leading the race by a significant margin. Yet, he chose not to participate in tonight’s debate. He’s expected to face felony RICO charges in Georgia tomorrow. As for tonight, he’s featured in an interview, seemingly recorded a week ago, with the dismissed Fox News host on the platform once known as Twitter.”

Although Trump behaves as if he’s already clinched the primary, a closer inspection of polls from Iowa and New Hampshire suggests otherwise. While Republicans are leaning toward Trump, their enthusiasm appears muted.

Trump’s decision to present an old interview with Tucker Carlson as a fresh offering hints at complacency on his part.

The recent debate saw underdog candidates outperforming, while Trump appears to be resting on his laurels, repackaging dated content and sidestepping opportunities to engage in debate.
