Jennifer Martinez reportedly accused Boebert of having an overly close relationship with her husband, which she claimed caused the breakdown of her marriage. Martinez alleged that Boebert lavished Archambault with gifts, including a $700 golf club and cruise tickets, and often invited him over to cook intimate meals at her home while her then-husband, Jayson Boebert, was away working in the oil fields.
Over time, Martinez believed this relationship amounted to “seduction” and caused her husband to spend more time with Boebert and her family than with his own. Fueled by frustration, Martinez reportedly stormed into the home of Boebert’s mother, Shawna, and scrawled “demonic whore” on Boebert’s driver’s license, among other insults. The incident escalated into a police investigation and resulted in Martinez’s arrest.

In a police report, Boebert described the confrontation, stating, “Jennifer opened the door and walked into the living room yelling and started screaming, calling my mom out, using threatening words. [She] had no permission to be there, she just rammed through the door. I want a restraining order.”
Martinez, however, defended her actions, claiming she was venting her frustrations after feeling “terrorized” by Boebert. She later acknowledged her outburst but held firm in blaming Boebert for interfering in her marriage, as reported by The New York Post. Martinez told police, “She’s a bad, bad woman. She made it so hard for me to get the help that I needed. She ruined my life.”
A Life of Controversy
This scandal is one of many that Boebert and her family have faced. In 2023, she was ejected from a Denver theater for vaping, sparking a public backlash. In 2024, her estranged husband, Jayson, was arrested following a restaurant altercation. Adding to the turmoil, revelations about her father’s identity and the birth of her first grandchild have kept her in the headlines.
Despite the controversies, Boebert has remained steadfast in her political career, emphasizing her dedication to her family. Following her divorce announcement in 2023, she stated, “I’ve always been faithful in my marriage,” and continues to refute allegations of impropriety.
