The House Oversight and Accountability Committee, chaired by James Comer (R-Ky.), is preparing to lodge six to ten criminal referrals against Hunter Biden, the son of the current US President. Despite recently striking a plea deal on minor tax and gun offenses, Hunter Biden is still under Republican-led investigation.

According to Comer, referrals to the Justice Department will include allegations that Hunter Biden violated the Mann Act, prohibiting the transportation of women across state borders for illegal sexual activities. Georgia’s Republican representative, Marjorie Taylor Greene, reportedly provided enough evidence to back this claim.

At a House Oversight Committee hearing, Greene accused Hunter Biden of breaching the Mann Act by paying women to travel interstate for sexual encounters. She referred to explicit images retrieved from Hunter Biden’s notorious “laptop from hell” as evidence.

At the same hearing, Supervisory IRS Special Agent Gary Shapley and IRS Criminal Investigator Joseph Ziegler claimed the Biden family received millions from overseas interests. Specifically, Ziegler revealed that Hunter Biden and his associates received $17 million from foreign entities, $7.3 million of which came from Ukrainian energy firm Burisma. They also discussed how the Justice Department allegedly impeded their investigation into the President’s son.

"She showed the plane tickets, she showed the pictures, she showed the evidence. You know, there’s no question he violated it. That’s another thing that he could have been charged with," Comer told an American broadcaster.

Additional criminal referrals might involve breaches of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) by Hunter Biden, who is suspected of lobbying foreign entities without proper registration.

A recently unclassified FBI memo released by Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa presented alleged evidence of a bribery scheme involving Joe and Hunter Biden. The document suggests that Burisma employed Hunter Biden to leverage his father’s influence to squash an investigation into its possible corrupt dealings.

In a related development, Supervisory IRS Special Agent Gary Shapley suggested that Hunter Biden exploited his father’s name to extract substantial sums from a Chinese associate. This allegation is supported by a reported WhatsApp text message from Hunter threatening Harvest Fund Management’s Director Henry Zhao. Following this exchange, Hunter’s company, Hudson West III, reportedly received $5.1 million from Chinese associates.

"[Hunter Biden] was money laundering. He was racketeering. He committed wire fraud. He violated the Mann Act. The list goes on and on and on," Comer said, pledging to get to the bottom of Biden's alleged corruption.
