Elon Musk Alleges “Darker Forces” Behind Nationwide Tesla Attacks Amid Escalating Political Tensions

Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and the leader behind the controversial Department of Government Efficiency’s extensive budget cuts, has expressed deep concern regarding escalating attacks against Tesla dealerships and vehicles across the United States. Musk suggested that the widespread violence might involve darker, coordinated forces.

Appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity” on Tuesday, Musk responded to host Sean Hannity’s inquiry about recent violent protests directed at Tesla. Hannity described disturbing incidents including arson at Tesla dealerships, vehicles being set ablaze, and charging stations vandalized. Particularly highlighting an incident in Las Vegas, Hannity questioned the motives behind such targeted aggression, reported Reuters.

“I have to ask: Why?” Hannity posed, citing various attacks nationwide. “Bullets are being fired. Charging stations are being put ablaze. Teslas are being put ablaze. You have experienced threats of assassination. You and your family. What have you done that warrants this?”

“Yeah, it’s come as quite a shock to me that there is this level of hatred and violence from the left,” Musk responded. He expressed dismay at these actions, emphasizing the irony of the violence stemming from political factions traditionally associated with empathy. “I thought the left was — that Democrats were supposed to be the party of empathy, the party of caring. And yet they’re burning down cars, they’re firebombing dealerships. They’re firing bullets into dealerships. Smashing up Teslas.”

Musk firmly maintained his innocence and underscored Tesla’s peaceful nature, stating clearly, “We’ve never done anything harmful. I’ve never done anything harmful. I’ve only ever done productive things.”

The billionaire entrepreneur went further, echoing rhetoric reminiscent of former President Donald Trump, suggesting a potential conspiracy orchestrated by unknown entities. “I think there are larger forces at work as well,” Musk speculated. “I mean, I don’t know. Who’s funding it and who’s coordinating it? Because this is crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this.”

Since Trump’s inauguration, Tesla showrooms have witnessed over 100 protests in multiple cities, including San Francisco, Berkeley, Minneapolis, and Kansas City. Vandalism incidents involving Tesla vehicles and facilities have significantly increased, with events such as gunfire in Oregon, arson attacks in Massachusetts, and Molotov cocktail assaults in Colorado.

Meanwhile, Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency has faced substantial backlash for dramatic layoffs, totaling over 62,000 federal employees, marking an unprecedented 41,311% surge compared to the previous year.
