Unearthed Bodycam Footage: Trump Adviser’s Tumultuous Night Out in 2021 Revealed
Bodycam footage, initially procured by The Arizona Republic, has now been unveiled, showing a heated scene from October 10, 2021. Boris Epshteyn, a key adviser to former President Donald Trump, found himself in a sticky situation at an Arizona bar, the Bottled Blonde.
Though originally charged with three counts of sexual misconduct after allegations arose of inappropriate advances toward two women, these charges were subsequently dropped. Epshteyn, 39 at the time, later pled guilty to disorderly conduct and served a probation sentence, which led to the conviction being set aside.
The bodycam footage, which NBC News accessed through a public records request, displayed the aftermath of the night. Epshteyn, dressed in what one of the women described as a “white Ralph Lauren polo,” resembling a “fatter Tony Soprano,” can be seen in the video being handcuffed and questioned about his arrest.
One woman recounted Epshteyn’s actions to the police on camera, detailing how he approached her group offering free drinks, only for the night to take an alarming turn. Accusations include Epshteyn grabbing the women by their waists and pulling them towards him in a manner described as “creepy.”
Despite the strong allegations, Epshteyn vehemently declared his innocence, insisting he “had never touched any girls.” Charges against him, apart from the disorderly conduct, were later dropped.
Epshteyn, who recently traveled with Trump from New Jersey to Washington, D.C., for a separate case, has yet to comment on this newly released footage.
