Two months into Donald Trump’s second presidency, some Democrats are already looking back at Joe Biden’s tenure with nostalgia, as scandals mount and economic concerns loom under the new administration. With Trump hinting at a possible recession and facing early controversies, liberal voters have taken to social media, expressing regret over the 2024 election outcome.
Many believe that had Biden remained in the race instead of stepping aside for Kamala Harris, the results might have been different, The Irish Star reported. Harris’ loss was particularly stinging for Democrats, as Trump not only won the Electoral College but also secured the popular vote—something many once considered impossible.

While his time in the White House is over, Biden is already making moves in a new direction. The former president has reportedly re-signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the powerhouse talent firm that represents Hollywood elites like Meryl Streep, Martha Stewart, and sports superstar Shohei Ohtani.
If the name sounds familiar, it’s because former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are also on CAA’s roster—though they’ve been busy swatting down rumors of a split in recent weeks. This isn’t Biden’s first stint with CAA. From 2017 to 2020, the agency represented him as he launched his memoir Promise Me, Dad, and embarked on a national book tour that sold over 85,000 tickets.
Now, Biden is back in Hollywood’s good graces, and CAA is rolling out the red carpet. In an Instagram post last month, CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett confirmed Biden’s return to the agency, praising his legacy. “President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” Lovett said. “His commitment to public service remains unmatched.

We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.” Biden’s Hollywood ties remain strong. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lovett and fellow CAA co-chairs Bryan Lourd and Kevin Huvane were among the entertainment industry’s biggest backers of the Biden-Harris campaign in 2024.
Speaking to Variety, Lovett argued that Biden could have defeated Trump had he stayed in the race. Instead of another campaign, however, Biden’s next chapter could be headed for the big screen—perhaps with a major Netflix deal in the works.
