Biden’s Economic Report Omits Economics: “pandemic-constrained economy”

According to The Daily Caller, the White House has published an intersectional Economic Report of the President that cites critical race theorists and mentions “gender” 40 times more than “inflation.”

Is anyone surprised the White House is more focused on woke talking points than the real concerns of average Americans?

According to Council of Economic Advisers Chair Cecilia Rouse, the report “demonstrates the robust economic progress we have made over the past year, and makes the case for the Administration’s economic policy priorities.”

“I am confident that we are building a historic recovery, and a better America,” President Joe Biden wrote in an introductory letter that blamed his unprecedented failures on a “pandemic-constrained economy” and “the war in Ukraine.”

The Daily Caller’s reporters quickly discovered, however, that the document’s real focus is on gender equity, racial equity, and climate change.

“Biden used the word ‘gender’ 127 in his economic plan, while he mentioned ‘inflation‘ just 87 times,” Daily Caller reporter Harry Wilmerding wrote. “Meanwhile, the report mentioned ‘inequality’ 147 times and ’emissions’ nearly 100 times.”

Daily Caller reporter Kendall Tietz noticed that the White House relied on the work of “prominent Critical Race Theory scholar Kimberlé Crenshaw” in composing its report.

“The ‘Racial, Ethnic, and Gender Wage Gaps’ section of [the report] discussed ‘substantial differences’ in wages paid to white women and black, Hispanic, American Indian, and Alaska native workers ‘of any gender, relative to white men,’ using Crenshaw’s theory of intersectionality,” Tietz wrote.

According to Tietz, Crenshaw “is also widely credited” as a leading scholar of Critical Race Theory, which “holds that America is fundamentally racist.”

More evidence of the Biden Administration’s economic incompetence appears to have embarrassed its supporters in the press.

“There’s not much he can do to curb inflation,” CNN’s John Harwood wrote in an attempt to defend a president who has historically low approval ratings.

“There’s not much he can do to keep migrants from reaching America’s southern border,” Harwood continued, depressed. “Or to reduce crime, or to make vaccine resisters get shots that would hasten the end of the coronavirus pandemic.”
