21-year-old Girl College Student Murdered While Closing Georgia Bar—Chilling Motive Revealed

Two suspects have been charged with the murder of 21-year-old Brianna Long, who was fatally struck by a stray bullet while finishing her bartending shift at The Pier in Remerton, Georgia. Tsion Clayton, 23, and Kimone Green, 21, both of Lowndes County, face one count of malice murder each, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced on February 25.

The tragic incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on October 29, 2023, when gunfire erupted outside the bar. Long, who was inside the bar after it had closed, was hit by a bullet fired from outside. Another bar employee was also injured in the shooting but survived. According to the GBI, the shooting stemmed from an altercation outside the bar, with numerous patrons and multiple vehicles caught in the crossfire.
