Praised for sci-fi-inspired designs and factory fit and finish, Zillers Motorcycles is one of the world’s most respected custom moto apparel. In 2018, Zillers took the coveted first place at the AMD World Custom Bike Build Championship, making it the first Russian store to be crowned AMD Champion.
When Florida-based bolt-on kits specialist NMoto Studio needed to find a partner to develop new motorcycle designs, Zillers was the obvious choice. And after several NMoto x Zillers BMW kits were released in August, the two companies have teamed up again to bring out another wildly transforming kit for one of the Bavarian brand’s motorcycles: the massive R18 cruiser.
With the aim of delivering what Zillers calls a “futuristic power cruiser“, the R18 has been completely redesigned aesthetically, discarding the standard R32-inspired tank and body in favor of sleek new carbon fiber elements. This includes a new tank with a pop-up speedometer, fork covers, massive side, and swingarm covers as well as a special seat and subframe with an integrated LED rear light.
Other notable additions to the 761lb Cruiser include bespoke wheels with milled billet aluminum spokes and forged aero disc covers, machined side and front engine covers, an exposed driveshaft, and a custom handcrafted titanium exhaust system.
Probably the coolest feature of the R18 is the special air suspension system from Zillers, which was specially developed for the 1,802 cm³ Boxer Twin, which lifts off the ground while driving and then lowers to rest on a string. locks when parking so no stand is required.
The Zillers Motorcycles x NMoto Studio BMW R18, limited to just 13 copies worldwide, can now be ordered as a bolt-on kit or as a complete turnkey bike for USD $44,900.
Zillers and NMoto determined that the production time to build the kit is around four months while building a turnkey machine is expected to take six months.
