On Friday, March 21, Williams was spotted dining at Michael’s, a popular New York City restaurant, where she briefly spoke with Page Six. Dressed in a statement-making outfit and accompanied by her caregiver, Williams appeared upbeat but firm in her messaging.

“I am fabulous. I’m better than good, but have been accused [of] being otherwise,” she told the outlet. She then added pointedly, “I am very much alive. I deserve freedom, darling.” Williams declined to answer most questions about her guardianship, except for one light-hearted moment regarding her physical appearance.
“I got the liposuction and breast implants when I was 31. I’m 60 now and my body’s holding up well,” she quipped. When pressed about the specifics of her guardianship arrangement, her caretaker, Ginalisa Monterroso, offered only a cryptic response: “Don’t believe everything you read.”

This appearance comes less than two weeks after a concerning incident on March 10, when Williams was escorted by ambulance from her living facility to a nearby hospital. The emergency response was triggered after a handwritten note—allegedly dropped from her window—read, “Help! Wendy!!”
