Kris Jenner Reveals Desire to Have Another Child Despite Being a Mother of Six
Kris Jenner, the 68-year-old matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family, recently made a surprising confession in the latest episode of The Kardashians on Hulu. During a candid conversation with her daughters Khloe Kardashian, Malika Haqq, and Scott Disick, Jenner revealed that she would still consider getting pregnant again, despite already being a mother to six grown children.
“I would be pregnant right now if I could,” Jenner quipped during the discussion. Her daughter Khloe, 39, was visibly shocked by the remark, gasping in response. Jenner, who has six children with her ex-husbands Robert Kardashian and Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner), continues to be a prominent figure in her family’s life. She has been in a relationship with 43-year-old Corey Gamble since 2014.
According to the New York Post, After Jenner’s surprising admission, Khloe pointed out that her mother could technically still conceive. “You know you can,” Khloe remarked. “You know your uterus doesn’t age. So you’re good if you wanna carry her baby.” Haqq even suggested that Jenner could be a surrogate for her, but Kris politely declined the offer.
As the conversation continued, Jenner expressed her empathy for Haqq’s desire to have more children, relating it to her own experiences. “I know what it must feel like to want a sibling for your baby because I always had that feeling deep down in my heart and soul,” Kris said. “That’s why I had six kids. I had a baby at 23, and then every couple of years I had a baby for a while. And then I got married and had two more. So that was my passion.”
Khloe also brought up the challenges her mother faced during her pregnancies with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who are now 28 and 26. “I had Kendall when I was 40,” Kris continued. “I really wanted Kendall to have a sibling closer in age to her, so I had Kylie when I was 41. And it wasn’t easy. I had terrible gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with Kylie, and with Kendall, I remember having a miscarriage right before, so I was nervous the whole time.”
According to PEOPLE, Kris’s first four children—Kourtney, 45, Kim, 43, Khloe, and Rob, 37—were with her first husband, Robert Kardashian, who passed away in 2003. She later married Olympic gold medalist, Caitlyn Jenner, with whom she had Kendall and Kylie. Their marriage ended in 2015, shortly before Caitlyn came out as transgender.
In a previous episode of The Kardashians, Kris had expressed her sadness about not being able to experience pregnancy again. When her daughter Kourtney asked if she was sad about never being pregnant again, Kris, tearing up, responded, “Don’t make me cry. Pregnancy was my most beautiful experience, especially my first one. My little pepper. Well yeah, you turned out spicy. I wasn’t counting on that.”
