Justin Bieber’s longtime friend drops bombshell claims about singer

Concern is mounting over Justin Bieber’s increasingly erratic behavior, with friends and fans now fearing that the pop star may be under the influence of a cult-like environment.

The 31-year-old Peaches singer has sparked alarm with a string of troubling public incidents in recent months, including a highly criticized moment at Coachella 2025, where he was seen smoking a joint in front of his teenage brother.

Other appearances have shown Bieber behaving in a reportedly “drunk” or disoriented manner, further fueling speculation about his mental and emotional state. While fans have raised questions about potential marital and financial struggles, an even more startling claim has now emerged from one of Bieber’s longtime friends.

Ryan Good, a close confidant and co-founder of Bieber’s fashion label Drew House, believes the singer may be involved in a cult, according to sources cited by TMZ. Good reportedly ended his friendship with Bieber about a year ago, citing growing concerns over the singer’s deepening relationship with his pastor, Judah Smith.

Good, who served as Drew House’s creative director, took issue with Smith’s increasing influence over Bieber — a relationship he claims created a rift between them. The source claims that Smith’s involvement was “concerning,” especially after the pastor was appointed to the Drew House board, despite lacking business credentials.

“The insider reported that the Baby crooner’s friend believed the church was a cult and Bieber’s growing closeness to Smith built tension between Good and the American popstar.”

Judah Smith, 46, leads Churchome, a celebrity-frequented church in Los Angeles, and has long been associated with Bieber’s spiritual journey. However, Good’s labeling of the church as a “cult” has sent shockwaves through Bieber’s fan base, reigniting debates around celebrity involvement in religious organizations.

The controversy comes at a time when Bieber’s public image has taken multiple hits. His breakdown in front of paparazzi, unpredictable behavior, and controversial choices have all contributed to concerns that something more serious may be at play behind the scenes.

“Bieber’s strange and eccentric public appearances have only added to his friend’s worry,” the source added. Neither Bieber nor his representatives have publicly addressed the claims or recent criticisms. Meanwhile, fans continue to voice their concern across social media platforms, urging the pop star to seek help.

As speculation intensifies, those close to the singer are reportedly hoping he will distance himself from what some now see as a dangerous influence — before it’s too late.
