According to a recent report from People, the 34-year-old Oscar-winning actress recently welcomed her second child with husband Cooke Maroney. The couple, who are already parents to 3-year-old son Cy, are said to be adjusting well to life as a family of four.

“Jen’s doing well. Being back in that newborn phase with a toddler as well can be overwhelming, but Jen’s got] such a great attitude. She’s meant to be a mom,” a source told the magazine.
The insider praised Lawrence’s natural ease in parenting, describing her as calm and adaptive. “She’s calm and just goes with the flow. Cooke’s a great dad too. They are good at balancing it all together,” the source added.
Lawrence, who first confirmed her second pregnancy during an interview with Vogue in October 2024, is reportedly settling into life with her newest addition after giving birth in New York City. Her first child, Cy, was born in Los Angeles.

“She recently gave birth to her second child in N.Y.C. She’s doing well,” the source revealed. “She was very excited about the pregnancy. She thought it was the perfect timing. She was very active and felt good.”
As a mother, Lawrence is described as hands-on, protective, and fun. The insider noted that the actress enjoys spending quality time with her son and is equally committed to maintaining a sense of normalcy and privacy for her children.
“She’s a fun mom and loves outings with her son,” the source shared. “She’s also super protective. She wants her children to have as much privacy as possible.”
