Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new sexual assault lawsuit, filed on Monday, January 13, by a woman identified as Jane Doe, who accuses the music mogul of abducting and raping her nearly 25 years ago when she was just 16 years old.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the woman alleges that Combs, now 55, and two unnamed associates drugged and sexually assaulted her in the late 1990s. Combs’ attorney has vehemently denied the claims.

Jane Doe recalls in her complaint that she had just finished a babysitting job in Lower Manhattan when Combs allegedly approached her outside the building, which she says was also the residence of one of his ex-girlfriends.

The plaintiff claims that Combs and his entourage offered her a ride home, insisting it was unsafe for her to walk alone. Despite her initial resistance, she says she reluctantly got into the car out of fear. Once inside, she alleges that she was drugged and taken to an unknown location where the assault occurred.

Combs’ legal team strongly refuted the accusations in a statement to Page Six: “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone.”

The lawsuit comes amid a series of high-profile cases involving allegations of sexual misconduct against prominent figures in the entertainment industry, many of which have been filed under New York’s Adult Survivors Act. This law temporarily lifts the statute of limitations for certain sexual assault claims, allowing survivors to seek legal action regardless of when the alleged incident occurred.

Jane Doe’s allegations add to the scrutiny surrounding Combs, who has faced previous accusations of misconduct. While he has consistently denied wrongdoing, this latest lawsuit has reignited conversations about accountability and justice for survivors.

As the case unfolds, Combs and his legal team remain steadfast in their denial, asserting that the allegations are without merit. Meanwhile, the lawsuit serves as a reminder of the ongoing impact of the Adult Survivors Act in giving survivors a platform to pursue justice decades after alleged incidents.
