Ian Ziering Breaks Silence on His Scary New Year’s Eve Street Fight with Bikers

Ian Ziering, known for his roles in ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ and ‘Sharknado,’ has opened up about a frightening New Year’s Eve incident involving a group of bikers. The day after the 59-year-old actor was involved in a street brawl, he took to Instagram to share his experience and his current state.

Detailing the event, Ziering described how a group of individuals on mini-bikes aggressively approached his car while he was stuck in traffic. Stepping out to check for any damage led to an unfortunate escalation into a physical confrontation. During this incident, Ziering was accompanied by his 12-year-old daughter, Mia, but thankfully, both emerged unscathed.

Expressing his concern, Ziering highlighted the increasing audacity of such groups who pose a threat to public safety and peace. He pointed out the need for more robust law enforcement measures to counteract such disruptive and intimidating behaviors.

As a public figure and parent, Ziering emphasized his stance against intimidation and misconduct, underlining the importance of ensuring safety for individuals and communities. He called upon city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and to allocate adequate resources to prevent similar incidents in the future.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the incident on New Year’s Eve shows Ziering exiting his vehicle and getting into an altercation with a biker, which soon led to a group attack. The confrontation occurred outside the Hollywood & Highland shopping complex, with Ziering attempting to flee but being held and punched by multiple attackers.

Following the incident, Ziering managed to return to his car and drive away, while the bikers also left the scene. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed to KTLA 5 their response to the incident, noting that no injuries were reported.

Concluding his message, Ziering expressed gratitude for the support from his family, friends, and fans, underscoring the importance of community strength and unity in challenging times. He wished everyone a Happy New Year, hoping for a safer and more peaceful environment.
