Halsey recently shared her joy in watching the special connection between her fiancé, Avan Jogia, and her 3-year-old son, Ender Ridley. In a conversation on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper, the 29-year-old singer opened up about the close relationship developing between Jogia and her son, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Alex Aydin.
“He has a relationship with my son now,” Halsey revealed, adding, “And just watching the way he shows up for my son in such an authentic way.” Witnessing the bond form between the two, Halsey said she felt reassured. “I was like, ‘OK, you really are just the best person,’” she noted, expressing her appreciation for Jogia’s genuine care and presence in her son’s life.
During the podcast, Halsey—whose real name is Ashley Frangipane—also shared a recent parenting moment involving her son. She laughed as she recounted how Ender had started calling her “Ash” after learning her real name. “My son started calling me Ash,” she told Cooper. “I was like, ‘You better get it together. I’m Mommy to you.’”
Halsey and Aydin parted ways in April 2023, and later, in September 2024, the “Without Me” singer confirmed her engagement to Jogia, best known for his role in Victorious.
